Greenhouse Project Verifier

Beyond Neutral® is a Greenhouse Friendly™ accredited independent verifier of greenhouse abatement projects.  Our accreditation dates from 2005 when Greenhouse Friendly™ initially established its panel of accredited independent verifiers.

Beyond Neutral® is accredited by Greenhouse Friendly™ to undertake verifications of abatement projects in the Fossil Fuel, Renewable Energy and Land Use Change and Forestry scopes. We undertake a rigorous evaluation of either:

  • the project’s Eligibility Statement, Emission/ Abatement Study and Project Monitoring Plan, prior to its approval, or
  • the abatement claim for an already approved Greenhouse Friendly™ project.

In addition to being a Greenhouse Friendly™ verifier, Beyond Neutral® is a pre-approved auditor for projects seeking to participate in Origin Energy’s Carbon Reduction Scheme. The Origin Carbon Reduction Scheme™ relies on a portfolio of offsets which are independently validated and verified by an external auditor, to standards like the Australian Government’s Greenhouse Friendly™ accreditation.

Project Approval/ Accreditation Advisory Services

If you are developing a greenhouse abatement project which can create carbon credits, Beyond Neutral® offers advisory services to facilitate a successful outcome from the project approval/ accreditation process. We will cast a “verifier’s eye” over the project and give you an honest appraisal.

By engaging Beyond Neutral®, you get access to our knowledge and experience as an integral part of your team; we are able to identify and resolve issues relating to your project’s accreditation prior to submitting your documentation to third party scrutiny.

Where we have provided these services previously, we enabled the achievement of successful verification results and the gaining of the desired approval. By improving the documentation and rigour, we can minimise a project’s verification and accreditation costs, the potential for adverse findings and the need to undertake further work to finalise the approval process satisfactorily.

We have also helped others to identify potential pitfalls which could adversely affect the success of their project; if identified early enough many of these pitfalls can be avoided at the project design phase.
